This paint is solvent Basecoat which dries to a flat finish, a clear gloss lacquer is required to complete the colour. Our Basecoat Paint provides excellent coverage and is resistant to rust, dust and UV light.
We sell this paint in different formats including Aerosols and Tins - please select your desired format from the Custom Mixed Paint menu. For tinned paint; Ready For Use Basecoat is Pre-Thinned and ready to spray, Neat Basecoat requires thinning 1:1 with Basecoat or 2K thinner, we recommend Basecoat thinner, for our Central Paints Basecoat Thinner please see the below link:

All paints will be mixed to the standard shade. Please check thoroughly to ensure you have the correct colour code, most colour codes can be found on a sticker or metal plate where the car door shuts, under the bonnet, or on the boot floor. If you cannot locate the colour code on your vehicle, please contact your local dealership for help.
Always check the colour before use, we will accept no responsibility for rectification work. We can provide Technical & Safety data sheets on request.
Delivery & Collection
We offer FREE UK delivery on all orders
. Please note, delivery times do not include weekends or bank holidays. We aim to dispatch all orders that are placed before 3PM the same day, this excludes weekends and bank holidays. Orders that are placed after 3PM will be dispatched the next working day.
Free collection can be made from our Leicester and Kettering Branch. Phone orders can be collected the same day if ordered before 3PM, please call the Branch you would like to collect from to place your order. Items showing as out of stock may still be available to collect in-store please call our stores to check availability. Click & Collect Orders can be collected Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM 2 hours after the order has been placed. Our stores are open Saturday 9:00AM - 2:30PM however we may not have Click & Collect orders ready for collection.
